This workshop introduces managers, engineers and technicians to the latest standards and practices in the application of functional safety using effective management, planning and execution in accordance with IEC 61508/61511, the international standards for process industry safety instrumented systems.
This is not a “high-end” engineering workshop; rather it presents the nuts and bolts of the subject ranging from PLCs, DCSs, process control concepts, industrial data communications to SCADA and manufacturing execution systems.
You will leave this workshop with a strong understanding of the key concepts in instrumentation, process control, SCADA and PLCs.
This introductory workshop is designed for those with little or no prior formal background, who function as managers, supervisors, engineers, planners, inspectors, designers, researchers, investors or procurers, and who seek a basic understanding of the practical aspects of mechanical engineering.
Industries require stable, reliable power supply. Sometimes this becomes difficult due to remote location of the industry or weak grid supply.
